FAQ

Questions buyers and suppliers ask us most

What information is required for a quotation?

Product and specification, quantity, packing, destination port, preferred Incoterm, payment terms and your required delivery period. The more precise the specification, the faster we can confirm supply.

Can Fortlex arrange CIF pricing?

Yes. We quote on FOB, CFR or CIF depending on the origin and destination, with freight and insurance coordinated as part of the offer.

Do you work with L/C transactions?

Letters of credit are common in commodity trade and we structure documentation to match the credit terms agreed between the parties.

Can inspection be arranged through SGS or Bureau Veritas?

Independent inspection can be arranged through recognised inspection companies at load port, covering quality, quantity, weight and loading supervision.

Do you support trial orders?

Trial shipments are often the sensible first step on a new supply line, subject to minimum viable container or vessel volumes.

Can suppliers submit products directly?

Yes. Suppliers can post an offer on the trade board or send details through the contact form; supply is reviewed before any introduction is made.
